Who am I?
There is a wonderful saying from The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran:
“The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain".
Life is about continual carving from which our growth and evolution springs.
I am eternally grateful for all the experiences I have had in my life. They have carved me into who I am today.
My childhood was spent living in various parts of the world, plodding aimlessly through academic hoops and finding relief in sport.
University was the first time I became passionate about learning - learning about the human body and the mind. I graduated in 1975 with a BSc in Physiology.
My next ten years were swallowed up in the corporate and IT worlds: I worked as a Systems Engineer, moved into Training, then Management, and finally Consultancy.
Life is about pivotal events that literally reshape you as a person
Life is also about pivotal events that literally reshape you as a person. My pivotal life events were my childhood, the glorious man I married who suffered from depression, getting cancer in 1991 and coping with subsequent infertility, adopting a child from Russia, the death of my husband in 1998 and creating life as a solo parent with three children aged two, seven, and nine.
These pivotal experiences were challenging and spiritually carving, but unfortunately they did not reshape me. My motto was always: “When things get tough the tough just need to get up and get going!” And so I forged blindly on!
My most pivotal and extraordinary life changing experience occurred in May 2000. I was six months into a Master of Business Administration degree at the time and unusual things were happening…. I found I was increasingly “knowing” things in advance of them happening. A friend suggested that I attend a course with her and there, like a bomb-blast, I encountered the world of ‘energy’ and its place in the Universe.
My journey into discovering the “wisdom of the unseen” had begun... But more importantly my journey to understand the science behind this became my passion. I was sure that there was a bridge between Science and Spiritualism.
There is!
Its called Quantum Physics.
The “message” I received at the time was that these energies were going to ‘unravel” me, heal me, and with that understanding I could help others do the same.
This is a therapy which produces results!
From the very beginning of this journey I developed the ability to read energies within the human body and transmit energies through my hands.
My growing understanding of who I am and what I do has been shaped not only by this gift but my forays into understanding Quantum Physics and developments in the scientific field of Epigenetics.
Twenty years of working with energies, with teachers, mentors, healers, books, my own life experience and of course with those who come to me for help, have helped me develop a type of therapy which produces results.
This work is my passion. I look forward to my continuing journey with Science and Spiritualism, the basis of the innovative healing techniques which I believe are so necessary in this complex and ever-changing world we live in.
